Ready To Vote was created to educate teens about the election process, and to encourage young adults in South Carolina to register and vote. During the election season, Ready To Vote also included television specials, registration drives, and radio programming to spread the message.
For the 2008 election, Ready To Vote was given a visual refresh to appeal more to the teen demographic. A redesigned identity was integrated into TV, print and web presences, and the friendlier, grittier look of the website was enhanced by using student faces and bright, patriotic colors.
Members of Ready To Vote’s “Pod Squad,” a team of young adults who visit area schools for presentations and registration drives, can also easily update the site with schedules and news using Adobe Contribute.
