Pen pals around the world

EdMates was a joint venture between the South Carolina Department of Education and schools in Queensland, Australia. Students uploaded their own stories, articles and photos to share with each other and learn about cultures from the other side of the globe.

The intro animation, featuring a globe-trotting plane, was suggested by the students. I created the animation and illustrations in Flash, and set the whole thing to a Calypso-style jingle, which I also created for the project. Watch the animation, and then just try to get it out of your head.
